Glenda Dietrich Moore is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and a Master of Divinity degree from Denver Theological Seminary. Ordained with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Glenda has served as pastor and associate pastor in churches in Indiana, Iowa, and Nebraska.
Glenda leads Explorations in Creativity workshops which combine self-nurturing, creativity, and self-expression. She has led spiritual life retreats for various groups such as The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), United Church of Christ, Church of the Brethren, The United Methodist Church, and Upper Room Ministries. Glenda teaches art classes for all ages and leads watercolor workshops for older youth and adults at Creation Energy Art Studio in her home in Lincoln.
Encompassing a wide range, Glenda’s artwork includes paintings in watercolor and pastel; commissioned drawings and pet portraits in pen-and-ink, pencil, and watercolor. Her works have been featured in books she has illustrated and in magazines such as Alive Now!, Imagine, and The Upper Room.
